About the IV IUOPA International Symposium

 

In the framework of the 25th anniversary of the University Institute of Oncology of the Principality of Asturias (IUOPA), we celebrate the IV Molecular Oncology Symposium, a key event that commemorates our trajectory of excellence in oncological research.

In recent years of the post-genomic era, the advances in understanding the basic biology of tumors, as well as the genetic and epigenetic alterations they contain, have allowed targeted therapy to continue progressing continuously. Additionally, recent advances in immunotherapy have transformed the management and prognosis of numerous tumor types.

These developments, together with the increasingly refined integration of multi-omics data, are driving precision medicine forward.

The upcoming XXXIV Congress of the Association of Gender and Sexuality Studies (AEGS) will take place at the University of Oviedo from May 20 to 22, 2026, in collaboration with the Institute of Gender and Diversity, the research group INTERSECCIONES (Literatures, Cultures, and Contemporary Theories), and the Department of English, French, and German Philology.

AEGS focuses on the dissemination, research, and critical reflection on cultural productions from the Americas and the Iberian sphere through feminist, gender, and sexuality studies, as well as other relevant analytical categories in these fields of study.

This edition proposes the theme of care under the title “Caring for the World: New Narratives of Justice, Gender, and Affection.” With this proposal, we aim to encourage a critical reevaluation of the role of care in interpersonal relationships, as well as in relationships beyond the human.

RADS2026

Recent Advances in Dynamical Systems (RADS2026) is an international conference organized within the DANCE Network. The meeting aims to strengthen and expand the connections among the network nodes, while presenting the state of the art and recent developments in dynamical systems.

This is the second international conference of the network and it will take place in Oviedo (Asturias) from Monday, 1 June, to Friday, 5 June, 2026.

The Organizing Committee is especially delighted to host this event, as the conference coincides with the 60th birthdays of two highly esteemed members of the Dynamical Systems group at the University of Oviedo. This provides a wonderful opportunity to celebrate their scientific and academic contributions.

Wellcome to the III Olympiad in Engineering Science

The Olympiad in Engineering Science is an international congress and competition dedicated to showcasing, discussing, and evaluating the latest advances in Engineering Science.

It is a prestigious event that brings together leading researchers, academics, and professionals from around the world.

Registration Fees

The registration fee covers attendance of sessions, maximum three papers presentation and inclusion to the conference proceedings (Springer – Scopus indexed), the welcome reception (tapas), lunch during the conference days, coffee breaks, and the conference banquet.

In case of cancellation, a written notification should be sent to the conference organization. If it is received prior to 1 April, 2027, registration fees will be refunded with a deduction of 50%. No refund can be made after 1 April, 2027.
